Background
Lynn White is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, having received a BS in Environmental Horticulture/ Landscape Design. She is also a certified nurseryman with the State of Connecticut. She resides in Willimantic with her husband, Kevin, and their 3 sons.
Community Involvement
She has been involved in varied capacities in service to the local community. On a volunteer basis, she has assisted with after school youth programs, community mentoring endeavors, and summer school education programs for youth. She has also assisted the town of Windham in urban beautification projects in neighborhoods that are being revitalized. As community outreach director for Abundant Life Community Church, Lynn has given of herself to encourage the success of women in the recovery community, mobilized resources to help feed the hungry and clothe the poor. As a member of the Garden Club of Windham, she has designed and installed many urban landscaping projects.
